Are You Ready to Join the 2017/18 Teacher Training Program?
Are you an experienced yogi wanting to deepen your practice and your learning? Is there a fire in you that wants to learn how to practice, wants to get more involved, no longer content to be on the side lines waiting to be taught. Do you desire more understanding to feel confident to work with the difficulties that may assail you to take on the journey yourself. Do you want to share the richness of yoga with others?
If your answer is ‘yes’ to these questions you may be ready to step up into the next Teacher Training Program with Caroline Coggins.
The Program covers the 2 year period January 2017– December 2018 & prepares you for Introductory Level assessment with the BKS Iyengar Yoga Association of Australia.
The core of the Program is four Sydney-based training modules in each of 2017 and 2018. Attendance at the annual Bali retreat and Caroline’s other classes and workshops is also encouraged. The emphasis is on your own willingness to learn, and the training is designed to encourage this.
The intention of the Program is that within the two year period you can do the minimum number of hours required for certification. We have made the program compact, so that your learning and commitment is enabled. In turn, you will
benefit from the solidity of the group working beside you.
You will make a clear commitment with yourself and with Caroline, understanding what is necessary to embark on the training to become a practitioner and then a teacher. It is not envisaged that you will necessarily be ready to do an assessment at the end of this period, but from the basis
of these two years you can proceed at your own pace.
If this sounds like you and you’d like more information see the 2017/18 Introductory Teacher Training page.
Applications close on Friday 23 December 2016, and earlier applications are welcome.
