The beginners courses are designed for new students to learn the fundamentals of yoga. In these courses you will learn how to do yoga starting from the basic poses and gradually building more foundations over the weeks.
Choose one of the Beginners Courses that you can attend for the whole duration and enrol into that course. Because yoga is best done twice a week, once you enrol into a beginners course you can come to the other beginners course running during the same time at no extra cost.
Coming to classes..
Attending classes at least twice a week gives the best opportunity to learn the foundations of Iyengar Yoga and feel the benefits. After the course is completed, students may be ready to join the Level 1 classes, or repeat as needed.
Wear tights, shorts, t-shirts, clothes you can move in. All equipment is supplied, however you may wish to bring your own yoga mat. Arrive 10 minutes before the class start time. Remember, yoga is best done on an empty stomach, at least 3 hours after a main meal. Please let your teacher know of any injuries or medical conditions.
